Environment

French Polynesia is made up of 118 beautiful islands, which are spread across more than 5 million square km of the South Pacific. The islands are grouped into five archipelagos, the Society Islands , the Tuamotu group, the Marquises, the Austral archipelagos and the Gambier archipelago. Each of the archipelagos is very different from each other and range from high volcanic islands and mountain peeks to low islands and atolls surrounded by tranquil turquoise lagoons.
